It depends on how long you need me, what the function is and where your event is taking place. A typical booking for me would consist of loading my vehicle and picking up my assistant an hour and a half before my arrival time, an hour to set up, play for three to five hours, roughly an hour to pack down and load the car and another hour and a half to get home and unload again. All in all each event would normally consist of between 8 and 10 hours.
What Music Will You Play and Will You Have My Requests On The Night?
I always carry about 10,000 songs with me (mostly on video) covering the 1950s through to the present day. I always ask for a request list before your event for any of those special songs, doing this gives me the chance to find out your taste in music and to add songs to my collection if you have requested songs that I don’t have. I will always try to accommodate any requests made on the night.
Will You Send Me Written Confirmation For My Booking?
Once I have received your deposit I will send a confirmation email clearly showing all relevant details such as start/finish times and of course the balance of the agreed fee.
Do You Have Insurance?
As every professional Disc Jockey should have, I have £2million public liability to cover me for any possible mishaps. All the equipment I use is also insured and PAT tested. PAT tests are like MOT’s are for cars but these are for portable appliances. Copies of all certificates are available upon request.
Do You Charge For Setting Up Your Equipment?
Equipment set-up is included in the price I quote.
Sound's Good, How Do I Book?
That’s easy. You can call me on 0797 100 2881 or fill in my contact form and I will be able to tell you if I’m available and give you a quote.
